and Foot Care

Here to help you

My goal is to provide therapeutic nail and foot care that is affordable, convenient to your location, and takes into consideration your overall health care needs.

My Approach and Values

Most people have maintained their their own foot care for years and we respect that their current need for foot care is related to a change in their health condition whether it is a vision loss, stiffness from arthritis, diabetic neuropathy, swelling in the feet, toes, or other physiological changes.

Colorado Nail and Foot Care offers both In-home and In-clinic appointments. Listening to your needs and explaining care options are essential ingredients in helping you obtain the care you deserve.

Foot Care Services

Here to listen to your needs and provide treatment and solutions for your toe nail and foot care needs.

Foot Health Assesment

When people no longer can or want to manage their own foot care, an initial assessment is essential to identify what help they need with this activity of daily living.

Soaking and Cleansing

Foot soaking is provided at the start of treatment to soften the toe nails and promote circulation. If soaking is contraindicated, gentle cleansing with a warm cloth can be provided.

Nail Cleaning, Clipping, Filing

Taking good care of your toe nails, toes, corns and calluses reduces the potential for infection and discomfort. We can help alleviate and maintain broken, jagged nails which catch on socks and bed sheets, skin complications related to friction between toes and foot wear, and thick toe nails that are difficult to trim.

Corns and Calluses Treatment

Corns and calluses on the feet are thickened areas of skin that can become painful. They are caused by excessive pressure or rubbing on the skin. One of the common causes is wearing poorly fitting shoes. As we age the foot tends to spread and lose the fatty padding that cushions our feet.

Ingrown Toenail Treament

Ingrown toenails may occur at any age and is one of the most common toenail problems. It can be a painful condition that can become infected if not properly cared for. Ingrown toenails usually affect the big toe, though other toes can also be affected.

Treatment of Thickened Nails

Thick nails have a number of causes including aging, fungal infections, psoriasis or injury. Thickened toenails can be painful and difficult to cut, and they can increase one’s susceptibility to infection.

Prevention of Calluses and Corns

Let us help you avoid painful corns and calluses by making helpful recommendations you can apply right away.

Footwear Assessment and Recommendations

Many foot problems are helped and even resolved with appropriate footwear. We can provide you with personalized footwear recommendations after thoroughly assessing your footwear needs.

Foot Massage

Gentle, therapeutic massage completes the visit to increase circulation and promote relaxation.

Podiatrists referrals

We are happy to recommend qualified foot care professionals if needed.

“Having pre-diabetes, I realize how important healthy feet are to my general health. When Rachel asked to set up her footcare clinic at my church, I jumped at the chance to have my toenails and feet cared for. I have enjoyed the gentle thorough attention Rachel has lavished on my feet. She is very warm and personable, and I look forward to my bi-monthly appointment.”

Karen Bianco

“Rachel has been my foot care nurse for the past eight months. She has been very efficient and caring.”

Joe Noelle

“I have been a client of a variety of foot care specialists since 2010 when I began to have hip problems. Rachel is by far the best I have had work on my feet. She examines my feet each time and asks what issues I have had since we last met, and then pays attention to those issues while still addressing the usual concerns. She is thoughtful, caring, gentle and thorough. She encourages me and supports me in ways of self care. I can't recomment Rachel highly enough.”
